Turtle Beach PX21 headset hissing

Dear internet,

If anyone is wondering if the Turtle Beach PX21s still have the hiss problem that the P21 headset had, it sure does. There's a little hiss without Stereo Expander on, and a huge hissing when you turn it on. It is very distracting, hopefully I get used to it because I don't want to pay return shipping to Amazon.

Come on TB, this was a huge problem in your P21s, fix it!

Sincerely,
Adam

To those who download the digital Starcraft with Windows 7

Hopefully this will find it's way onto Google somehow because there is no current easy way to find a solution for patching Starcraft in Windows 7.

The digital download of Starcraft comes with the 1.15.2 patch, and the latest now is 1.16.1. Unfortunately, in Windows 7 Beta, you get an error message,

"The patch could not be applied because it does not match the file checksum. This problem can usually be corrected by uninstalling and reinstalling the game and then patching again.

File name: ------\Starcraft\StarEdit.exe"

when you try to patch it. Even if you run in administrator or whatever, it'll have one or the other error message.

How to fix this? Install your digital download of Starcraft with compatibility mode (right-click -> properties) for Windows XP. Then it'll patch fine! Good luck!

Digging around my coin box, I was sad to realize that I didn't have many quarters. But once I got down to the bottom, it was like a treasure trove of laundry money! The rest is going to coinstar, wish me luck!

Some thoughts

  • Medical school exams should never be free response. Multiple choice is really the only way it can be fair.
  • "None of the above" is a choice that only jerks include in their questions.
  • Are smart people inclined to have a hard time dating?
  • I make lists like this for lectures, labs, and life.
